Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a loan officer professional to develop customer relationships, interview applicants, and process consumer loan requests. You will review credit reports, structure terms, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering high-quality service.

The role requires strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with leadership ability and a willingness to mentor teammates. Some evening/weekend scheduling and up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills required.
• Experience in consumer lending and relationship management preferred.
• NMLS registration and compliant training required or pursued.
• Knowledge of credit structuring and lending practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships and strengthen existing ones using need-based sales approaches.
• Interview loan applicants and request information for loan applications; review and process applications.
• Order credit reports, analyze credit and set terms in alignment with policies; monitor compliance.
• Provide high-quality service, support sales initiatives and participate in community outreach.
