Job summary

Walmart in Stow, OH is seeking an experienced people leader to recruit, develop and oversee store associates. You will coordinate staffing, mentor managers, and uphold Walmart's values while delivering results for customers.

This role emphasizes supervision of teams, adherence to policies, and creating a culture of belonging. You’ll partner with stakeholders to meet business needs, apply EDLP principles, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training.
• For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, I acknowledge that the position may require a state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition.
• Promote a culture of integrity, ethics and compliance in line with Walmart values.
• Build belonging mindset in the workplace and foster teamwork and collaboration.
• Ensure policies are followed and drive continuous improvement in store operations.
