Job summary

SoTalent in the United States (Illinois) is seeking a Digital Category Sales Manager to drive digital commerce growth across its brands. You will act as a subject matter expert, partnering with Sales, Category, Brand and cross-functional teams to develop business plans and optimise digital execution.

The role demands 5+ years in brand/category/omnichannel management, strong sales and analytical abilities, and experience building customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience across brand management, category management, omnichannel marketing and/or customer management.
• Strong sales, analytical and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing customer relationships.
• Ability to analyse business dynamics, identify opportunities and develop commercially focused solutions.
• Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and influence short- and long-term digital customer business plans aligned with category and brand strategies.
• Drive business performance through customer and channel insights, ensuring programs address commercial priorities and market needs.
• Support annual operating planning and adjust brand and customer plans to close performance gaps and achieve financial targets.
• Establish and deliver national digital targets, including reporting and insights on digital commerce performance.
• Optimise digital shelf execution, including product page content, digital commerce programs, rollover activity and overall digital shelf health.
• Analyse business performance, identify gaps against targets and develop clear corrective action plans.
• Support trade-funded retail media and shopper marketing initiatives across the business.
• Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer and category insights into actionable commercial strategies.
