Job summary

Michigan Educational Credit Union is seeking a Digital Banking Specialist to assist members and staff with MECU’s digital banking tools. You will resolve routine issues, document updates, and support training and digital projects in coordination with the Digital Banking Manager and Digital Services team.

The role emphasizes clear communication, problem solving, and adherence to privacy and security practices while supporting multiple channels and service improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Effective communication with members and employees by phone and in writing.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and assignments while meeting service expectations.
• Professional and dependable presence in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member and employee questions about online and mobile banking, bill pay, eStatements, digital payments and transfers.
• Provide support via phone, email, chat, service tickets, or referrals from branches.
• Explain digital services in clear language and help complete routine tasks.
• Research and resolve issues; escalate complex or security-sensitive cases.
• Maintain knowledge of MECU’s digital banking services and updates.
• Assist with staff training and sharing knowledge across departments.
• Support testing, rollout activities, and project-related tasks.
• Document inquiries, incidents and follow-ups for consistency.
