Job summary

First Internet Bank of Indiana in Fishers, IN seeks a Vice President, Payment Strategy and Operations to lead the modernization and governance of all payment functions including ACH, wire transfers, and real-time payments.

You will drive strategic vision, partner with executive leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and position the bank as a digital payments leader while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive experience in banking/payments.
• Experience designing and executing payment strategies including digital and real-time payments.
• Ability to lead transformation and growth of payment operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the bank’s enterprise-wide payment operations strategy including modernization.
• Partner with senior leadership to align payment ops with growth objectives and fintech strategy.
• Identify trends and translate them into actionable strategies and solutions.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across payment platforms and processes.
• Oversee compliance with NACHA, Reg E, BSA, Reg D, and other requirements.
• Lead risk management and governance of payment functions and partnerships.
