Job summary

Fremont Bank is seeking a Digital Banking Business Analyst to bridge business units, vendors, and technology teams. You will analyze needs, document requirements, and support enhancements across online and mobile banking platforms.

The role collaborates with Digital Banking, Operations, IT, Compliance, and Retail Banking to drive improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience with spreadsheet tools for analyses and reporting.
• Proven experience with productivity tools to document and maintain operational policies and procedures and detailed process flows.
• Minimum five years’ experience in financial services or equivalent, including online and mobile banking.
• Basic technical understanding of online and mobile banking, core host systems.
• Strong analysis, document creation and presentation skills using Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to make objective observations, examinations, evaluations and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for digital banking products, services, and system enhancements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and process documentation.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend digital banking improvements and customer experience enhancements.
• Create workflow diagrams, business requirements documents, user stories, and process maps.
• Support digital banking platforms including online banking, mobile banking, bill pay, and related services.
• Coordinate testing activities including UAT and defect resolution.
• Develop project documentation and implementation plans.
• Monitor milestones and provide status updates to management.
• Support change management for new systems and enhancements.
• Analyze operational and customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop reports and dashboards for digital banking adoption and performance.
• Track KPIs and propose action plans based on findings.
• Assist management with business case development and cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with audits and documentation.
• Develop training materials and communicate system changes to stakeholders.
