Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is seeking an Automotive Business Development Representative (BDC) / Internet Sales to bridge customers with the dealership. Not remote eligible, the role focuses on nurturing inbound inquiries, guiding needs analyses, and connecting buyers with in-store teams for a seamless path to purchase.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, computer skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• To be computer savvy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High energy, positive attitude, and a team-first mentality.
• Ability to multi-task and manage leads efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays.
• Not Remote Eligible.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

Responsibilities

• Pull and manage leads through our CRM.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, text, chat, or email.
• Serve as a knowledgeable first point of contact on products, services, and the DARCARS brand.
• Convert online interest into in-store appointments.
• Follow communication scripts to maintain consistency and quality.
• Log all customer interactions in real-time.
• Build strong working relationships with dealership personnel.
• Meet or exceed performance goals, including response time and conversion metrics.
• Learn and train with the manufacturer to become an expert.
