Job summary

Citi is seeking a Director to lead the technology platform strategy for a broad Digital Assets program in New York. You will translate business strategy into an executable roadmap and oversee engineering delivery aligned with stakeholder needs across Investor and Issuer Services.

You will drive governance across multiple workstreams, mentor a high-performing team, and ensure solutions meet architecture, security, and regulatory standards in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software, with leadership roles.
• 12+ years leading tech in financial services (capital markets, custody, securities services or digital assets).
• 10+ years leading large multi-workstream technology portfolios in global orgs.
• 5+ years in digital asset/ blockchain concepts (tokenization, custody, smart contracts, DLT).
• Direct experience with Investor Services and/or Issuer Services preferred.
• Proven ability to partner with Engineering leadership to deliver platform outcomes.
• Strong people leadership and succession planning experience.
• Excellent executive communication and regulator-facing collaboration skills.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and control frameworks in financial services tech.

Responsibilities

• Define and own technology strategy and roadmap for Digital Assets use cases.
• Partner with DA Technology Head to shape platform vision and multi-year strategy.
• Represent Technology in senior business forums, advising on feasibility and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Legal to meet regulatory and business needs.
• Own end-to-end delivery accountability across a broad DA initiative portfolio.
• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering/delivery team and foster engineering excellence.
• Ensure solutions comply with Citi architecture, security, resiliency, and controls standards.
• Navigate regulatory landscapes with Risk and Compliance, managing risk and dependencies.
