Job summary

State Street is seeking a contributor to its Digital Center of Excellence to advance digital asset accounting solutions for funds, including alternatives and ETF spaces. The role interfaces with risk, legal, product, and technology teams and engages clients and vendors to document needs, develop concepts, and drive implementations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with client workflows and fund accounting using accounting platforms; Geneva a plus.
• 3+ years experience with digital asset market data providers (DAR, Coinmetrics, Lukka a plus).
• Deep understanding of trade flow processes in alternative and cryptocurrency markets.
• Experience helping build innovative products from ideation through design and development using an agile framework.
• Experience in business development and client engagement, with a track record of execution and results.
• Demonstrated ability to apply structured thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounting: Assist in implementing accounting policies and procedures for tracking, valuing, and reporting digital assets.
• Accounting: Keep compliance procedures up to date to support adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices for digital asset accounting.
• Accounting: Prepare reports, quarterly metrics, and other analyses to support risk management and performance monitoring.
• Product Management: Serve as a dedicated resource for proofs of concept involving new subproduct types, vendor products, internal enhancements, and cross-product integration.
• Product Management: Engage with State Street business teams, clients, and prospects to assess servicing complexity and interest in new technologies, and propose solutions informed by these discussions.
• Product Management: Collaborate with business and product teams to assess cryptocurrency fund administration solutions, including identifying and validating value propositions from third-party vendors.
• Product Management: Define business functional requirements and work with technology teams to outline development work. Help shape roadmaps with clear, achievable milestones and realistic success criteria.
