Job summary

Avispa Technology seeks a Digital Asset Management Coordinator in New York, NY to ingest, validate, and organize media content in our DAM. You will handle full-length programming, marketing materials, images, audio, captions, and related paperwork, following strict ingest procedures and naming conventions.

You will apply metadata and rights information, perform post-ingest QC, and assist with legacy asset migration and new workflow testing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in digital asset management or media operations.
• Familiarity with file formats, codecs, and captions/subtitles.
• Experience with transfer tools such as Aspera or Signiant.
• Knowledge of metadata best practices and rights information.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ingest assets into the DAM following established procedures.
• Apply technical/ descriptive metadata and rights metadata.
• Perform post-ingest quality control and escalate issues.
• Support migration of legacy assets and testing of workflows.
• Track requests using Smartsheet or Airtable and inform requesters.
