Eliassen Group is actively seeking an IT Risk & Controls Auditor to support our Digital Asset engagements. This remote consulting role emphasizes auditing controls around financial reporting, compliance, and IT processes, leveraging COSO/COBIT and ITGC testing to ensure robust risk management.

Responsibilities include assessing controls, documenting findings, and collaborating with stakeholders to remediate issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as stated in the posting.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and IT risks, processes and controls.
• Familiarity with COSO/COBIT frameworks.
• Experience testing ITGC domains such as change management, access controls, operations and systems development.
• Experience in audit, assurance, or risk management within technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology risk and controls audit and assurance support for digital asset engagements.
• Assess and test controls related to financial reporting, compliance, and operational processes.
• Evaluate business process and IT management controls against established frameworks.
• Review and assess IT general controls across change management, access, operations, and systems development.
• Document findings, develop remediation recommendations, and support issue closure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align control activities with risk objectives.
