Job summary

Paxos is seeking a Compliance Associate to safeguard its digital asset ecosystem through hands-on monitoring and investigations. You’ll support in-the-wild monitoring of Paxos-issued stablecoins, assist with complex blockchain investigations, and contribute to information sharing with law enforcement and regulators.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in compliance, financial crime investigations, AML, sanctions, or related risk.
• Experience with digital assets is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, criminal justice, law, data/analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Paxos-issued stablecoins using blockchain analytics, triage alerts, escalate as needed.
• Conduct first-line investigations and synthesize KYC, transactional and OSINT data into case files.
• Support quarterly forensic reviews of stablecoin transactions and document findings.
• Assist with intake and management of internal referrals across cross-functional teams.
• Maintain information-sharing workflows with law enforcement and regulators.
• Draft investigation summaries and SAR/STR documentation meeting standards.
• Use AI tools to speed up workflows while owning final decisions.
• Contribute to procedures, playbooks, and training for monitoring and investigations.
• Participate in rotating weekend/on-call coverage and occasional travel as needed.
