Qualifications

Job description

The Digital and Audio Account Executive executes and leads the business to business portion of WFIT's fundraising strategy. This included selling WFIT's media assets: web and digital products, on-air business and prospecting and selling new business. Understands the WFIT brand, programming, AAA music and NPR new programming. Publishes web stories and other digital elements about sponsors.

Responsibilities
  • Attend external functions (e.g. Chamber of Commerce meetings and other community based events) where potential or existing clients may be in attendance.
  • Use AI technologies in accordance with station policies to affect sales materials and copy.
  • Work with the General Manager to set forecasts and sales goals for on-air, events and other sellable media assets.
  • Participate in membership fund drives including on-air pitching.
  • Participate as a collaborative member of the WFIT management team and staff in developing and creating an integrated approach in supporting all WFIT fundraising, marketing, programming and outreach efforts.
  • Delivering compelling, solutions based proposals in professional packages.
  • Produce and edit stories on wfit.org to include sponsor lists and highlights.
  • Insert sponsor ads into web site.
  • Write and produce stories about sponsors for WFIT’s newsletter.
