Feit Electric, Inc. in Pico Rivera, CA is seeking a Digital Advertising Designer with a strong focus on video and performance marketing.
You’ll transform brand assets and raw footage into scroll-stopping ads for Google, Meta, and TikTok, using AI-powered tools to speed up production and testing. You’ll collaborate with marketing and external partners, shape messaging, and ensure brand consistency across multiple campaigns while managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Feit Electric is a global leader in lighting and smart home technology, home to a portfolio of brands including Feit Electric, LIFX, Cree Lighting, Good Earth Lighting, and Universal Security Instruments. Our marketing team drives performance campaigns across retail media, paid social, and search for this full family of brands, and we're growing our in-house creative capacity to keep pace with the volume and speed that performance marketing demands.
We're looking for a Digital Advertising Designer with experience in performance marketing to build and adapt high-performing digital ad creative — with a strong focus on video and building out snappy visual hooks with UGC-style clips — across Google, Meta, and TikTok. This role sits at the intersection of creative execution and performance strategy: you'll take existing brand assets, briefs, and raw footage and turn them into scroll-stopping, conversion-driven ads, while also using AI-powered creative tools to speed up production and testing.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. You'll operate as a strategic doer — someone who can think critically about messaging, audience, and brand fit, and then execute at the speed that performance marketing requires, without needing a team to hand work off to.
Design and edit digital ad creative, with strong emphasis on snappy video, gifs and UGC-style clips for paid campaigns running on Google, Meta, and TikTok.
Edit and adapt existing video, photo, and UGC content into multiple ad variations and formats optimized for each platform's specs and best practices.
Use and explore AI creative processes e.g., generative editing, auto-captioning, image-to-video, script-to-video and other approaches to accelerate production and scale testing.
Partner with marketing and social media stakeholders to translate campaign briefs and messaging strategy into creative that fits brand voice and performance goals.
Think strategically about hooks, pacing, messaging hierarchy, and creative testing structure — not just execute what's handed off, but shape the creative approach.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to keep creative production moving across multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously.
Engage with dashboards and reporting on ad performance and creative fatigue signals, and iterate quickly on both top-performing and under-performing assets.
Maintain brand consistency across the various brands while adapting tone and format to each platform and audience.
Manage multiple briefs and deadlines at once in a fast-paced, always-on performance marketing environment.
3+ years of experience designing and editing digital ad creative, ideally at a performance marketing agency or in an in-house performance marketing team.
A strong portfolio demonstrating video-first ad creative and UGC-style content built for Google, Meta, and TikTok.
Hands-on proficiency editing video and adapting existing content (not just building from scratch) — Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools.
Working knowledge of AI creative and editing tools, and a genuine interest in using them to improve speed and output quality.
Solid understanding of platform-specific ad specs, creative best practices, and what drives performance on Google, Meta, and TikTok.
Ability to balance strategic thinking about messaging and brand fit with fast, independent execution — this role has no direct reports and requires ownership from concept to final asset.
Strong collaboration skills — comfortable working with marketing, social media, and other internal stakeholders as well as external agency partners.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
This is an onsite role. The anticipated hourly (non-exempt) range of $36.00– $38.00 depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
The position is on site Monday through Friday in our Pico Rivera, CA office. The position does not offer relocation package. No remote work available for this position.
