Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Digital Accessibility Specialist to shape enterprise-level accessibility standards and advise cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes governance, policy-building, and training rather than hands-on code remediation.

You will partner with leadership, review audit findings, and develop remediation strategies, dashboards, and reporting to drive progress across accessibility initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, with proven experience building or scaling a digital accessibility program.
  • Deep knowledge of WCAG standards, ADA, Section 508, PDF/UA, and common accessibility barriers across web and mobile platforms.
  • Strong understanding of front-end web structures (HTML, ARIA, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Java, .NET) with the ability to inspect code and supply remediation code snippets.
  • Hands-on familiarity with desktop (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and mobile (TalkBack, VoiceOver) assistive technologies, alongside UI design tools like Figma.
  • Advanced Jira & ServiceNow expertise: dashboards, metrics, and reporting analytics.
  • Agile leadership and ability to present, train, and liaise with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, scale, and maintain digital accessibility standards across product teams.
  • Embed accessibility requirements into the Product Development Life Cycle with Agile methods.
  • Provide remediation guidance and example code to development teams.
  • Build Jira dashboards, monitor metrics, and prioritize accessibility tickets.
  • Lead stakeholder training and create reporting dashboards to track progress.
  • Collaborate with auditors/testers and support accessibility initiatives.

This strategic opportunity as a Digital Accessibility Specialist empowers a subject matter expert to shape enterprise-level accessibility standards, advising cross-functional teams rather than writing routine code. Partner with executive leadership to embed inclusive practices into every stage of the product life cycle while driving meaningful business impact.Instead of performing hands-on code remediation, you will serve as an advisor-analyzing audit findings, providing actionable remediation instructions, creating code snippets, and supporting both internal testers and product teams.
