Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care within specialty clinics. You will diagnose, treat, and manage patients independently with physician oversight and a focus on evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas and NP licensure with APRN certification.
• Experience in clinical settings and patient care.
• BLS certification and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Develops treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Counsels patients and families on medical processes and health promotion.
• Maintains accurate treatment records and coordinates referrals.
• Provides inpatient/outpatient care as needed and performs procedures within scope.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
