Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas (or compact state)
• Current Texas NP license
• BLS certification within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and obtain medical histories.
• Order, collect, interpret labs and diagnostic tests to assess health care needs.
• Prescribe medicines and therapies per approved protocols.
• Formulate and implement patient treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Counsel patients and families on medications, nutrition, and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes; initiate referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation within the specialty scope and manage care outside of primary clinic.
• Perform invasive procedures as delegated by the supervising physician.
• Fulfill coverage needs beyond regular schedule when required.
