Job summary

Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services in Spokane Valley seeks a dietitian to develop, coordinate and direct nutrition care for diverse patient populations. You will manage nutrition resources and monitor enteral nutrition to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nutrition or Dietetics, Washington Dietitian Certification within 6 months, and National RD credential at hire, plus at least 1 year hospital or home care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Within 6 months of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification.
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian credentials.
• At least 1 year hospital or home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and direct all aspects of nutrition care for patients.
• Assist in management of nutritional resources and TPN patients.
• Monitor enteral nutrition and patient nutrition status.
• Support pharmacists in managing TPN patients and clinical nutrition workflows.
• Make decisions affecting patients' overall nutrition outcomes.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, Day shift

This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient. Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients. Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
• 1 year Hospital or home care experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in enteral/parenteral nutrition.
• Pediatric, adult and geriatric experience.
• Development of nutrition related forms and policies and procedures.

Pay range: $31.35 - $48.68. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
