Job summary

Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services seeks a nutrition care professional to develop and direct clinical nutrition services, coordinating care across hospital and home settings. You will lead nutrition resources, collaborate with pharmacists on TPN patients, and monitor enteral nutrition to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nutrition or Dietetics, Washington Dietitian Certification within 6 months, and a CDR RD at hire, with hospital or home care experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required.
• Within 6 months of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification.
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian (RD).
• 1 year hospital or home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and direct all aspects of clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision.
• Assist in management of nutritional resources and decisions affecting patient care.
• Support pharmacists in managing TPN patients and monitor enteral care.
• Provide clinical monitoring of enteral patients and improve nutrition status.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, Day shift

This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient. Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients. Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
• 1 year Hospital or home care experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in enteral/parenteral nutrition.
• Pediatric, adult and geriatric experience.
• Development of nutrition related forms and policies and procedures.

Pay range: $31.35 - $48.68. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
