Job Summary:
The Dietetic Technician I PD provides age appropriate nutrition care and is responsible for sterile preparation and unit dose forms of breastmilk and formula pursuant to physicians orders within the hospital centralized preparation lab. Assists with food service line for specialty patients, calculates and documents calorie counts, plans nourishments under supervision of Registered Dietitian (RD), screens patient at nutritional risk, and provides education and monitoring for low nutritional risk patients.
