Job summary
Cura Hospitality is hiring a full-time Dietetic Technician for the Mississippi State Hospital in Whitfield, MS. On-site role supports allergen, food safety and wellness programs by partnering with dietitians and hospital staff to ensure menus meet contract and regulatory standards.
You will manage nutritional data software, input nutrition information, plan menus respecting dietary restrictions, monitor patient nutrition, and help with research; requires 1 year clinical experience, CADE/ADA
Qualifications
- 1 year of clinical experience.
- 2 year Associate’s degree from a CADE/ADA-accredited program.
- Passed a national examination by CDR to obtain Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR).
- 1 year of experience in food and nutrition sciences, medical terminology, and food-service systems management.
Responsibilities
- Manage nutritional data software.
- Input nutritional information.
- Address questions about nutritional information and menu content.
- Plan and design menus considering dietary restrictions.
- Prepare meals and monitor patients' nutritional status and needs.
- Evaluate menus/recipes and document nutritional progress.
