Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown is seeking a Dietetic Specialist with PM Cashier responsibilities including the Ruby Cafeteria, Doctor’s Dining, and other Nutrition Departments. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, ticket handling, and adherence to hospital standards in a fast-paced setting.

Primary hours are 9:00am-5:30pm or 12:00pm-8:30pm, with alternating weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MCHD Food Service Worker Permit throughout employment.
• Temporary FSWP allowed before permanent permit during training.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must comply with FDA Food Code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Properly handles cash, credit cards, payroll deductions and meal vouchers following department policies.
• Operates register system with accurate change and handles deposits.
• Reviews menu, pricing, and register screen before shift.
• Maintains clean, well-stocked work area.
• Follows recipes and techniques when preparing beverages.
• Sets up and delivers catered events and supports nutrition departments as assigned.
• Interacts with customers professionally.
• Assists with inventory and storage according to policy.
