Deer Meadows is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to oversee dietary operations, lead menu planning, food preparation, and sanitation to deliver high-quality care for patients and residents.

You will manage day-to-day activities of the dietary department, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA/OSHA) and collaborate with the culinary team on special diets while fostering a safe, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a dietary setting, preferably in healthcare.

• Manage and coordinate the dietary department's daily activities, including menu planning, food preparation, and sanitation.
• Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, consumption, and waste.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA and OSHA.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and prepare special patient diets.
• Monitor and maintain a clean, safe food service environment.
• Develop and implement dietary department policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement plans.
• Provide exceptional service to patients, residents, and staff.
