Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler level II certification or state-required food safety certification.
• Must be certified food service manager or hold a related national certification, or an associate degree in food service management or hospitality with relevant coursework.
• Must meet state standards for food service managers where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the food service department in a skilled nursing setting.
• Manage staffing, food ordering, meal preparation, delivery and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and safety standards.
