The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe and sanitary environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, hands-on, and experienced in food service, preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting.

• Minimum 1 year of food service or supervisory experience.
• Nursing home or healthcare food service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Food Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of food sanitation, large-scale food preparation, portion control, and food safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tray-line operations and timely meal delivery.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and state and federal regulations.
• Monitor staff workflow and provide training and direction to dietary employees.
• Assist with menu adjustments, dietary practices, and kitchen procedures.
• Ensure proper food preparation, handling, storage, and temperature control.
• Complete daily shift logs, sanitation checklists, temperature logs, and required documentation.
• Promote an efficient, clean, and positive kitchen environment.
• Perform other supervisory and kitchen leadership duties as assigned.

Schedule: Full Time | 5:00 AM–1:00 PM and 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
