Job summary

Theenclaverehab is seeking a full-time Dietary Supervisor to lead the Food Service Department at our geriatric care facility in New York. Daily pay is offered and you will supervise staff, assist with meal planning, and ensure safe, quality food service.

Strong organizational and communication skills are required, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience and a high school diploma. Healthcare experience is a plus, and references should be strong.

Dietary Supervisor Candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills to supervise staff and interact with our geriatric residents. Responsibilities include supervising/training staff and assisting with the operations of the Food Service Department. Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Food Service Department, its programs and activities. Inspect food storage rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control. Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of food and non-food supplies. Assist in food purchasing and receiving including monitoring expenditures and cost controls. Assist in developing methods for determining quality and quantity of food.

Dietary Supervisor Qualifications

• At least 1 year supervisory experience
• High school degree.
• Strong references.
• Experience in a healthcare a plus.

Shifts

• Every other weekend (11am-7pm Shift)
