Job summary

Woodbury Heights Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily dining operations, ensuring high-quality meals for residents. The role is 4 days per week, 3pm–8pm, with every other weekend required.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations and staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Plan and coordinate resident meals and dining services.
• Schedule staff for 3:00 pm–8:00 pm shifts.
• Maintain a respectful, patient-centered dining environment.

THis position is 4 days a week from 3pm to 8pm, you must be willing to work every other weekend.

Education

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care Facility, or other related medical Facility.

Specific Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of food services practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing food services functions in nursing care facilities.
• Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
