Job summary

SUN MAR HEALTH CARE in Menifee Lakes Post-Acute seeks a Dietary Supervisor to lead the Food Services Department on a full-time basis. You will coordinate with Nursing and other departments, manage diet changes, and train staff to ensure quality meals for residents.

The role is Exempt, pays $75k–$90k annually, and starts consideration by 10/14/2026 with Full-Time status at shift days.

Qualifications

• 6 months in a dietary position.
• Knowledge of special diets.
• Ability to interpret policies and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Development and scheduling of in-service training for the Food Services Department.
• Coordinate food services with Nursing, Environmental, Activity and Social Services.
• Prepare written/oral reports to Dietitian/Administrator as needed.
• Process diet changes from nursing services.

We are looking for an experience Dietary Supervisor - Full Time.

As Supervisor of Food Services, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Development of and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely in-service training classes that provide instructions on “how to do the job,” and that ensure a well-educated Food Services Department.
• Coordinating food services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Nursing, Environmental, Activity and Social Services, etc.).
• Written and oral reports/recommendations to the Dietitian and/or Administrator as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Food Services Department
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services.

Position Requirements

• 6 months in a dietary position
• Requires knowledge of special diets.
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Be able to interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Communicate effectively.
• 1-3 months related experience or training.
