Job summary

Midwest Health in Baldwin City is seeking a dedicated Dietary Supervisor to lead our dietary staff and ensure smooth operation of the food service within the facility.

The role reports to the community Administrator and involves overseeing menu item availability, inventory control, and budget adherence. The supervisor will hire, orient, and discipline dietary staff in accordance with facility policies. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Assures that all items needed to prepare foods on the menu are available to dietary staff. Assures that appropriate inventories of food, supplies and equipment are available.
• Maintains and keeps accurate accounting for all budgets assigned, and informs Administrator prior to spending monies in excess of the budget.
• Is responsible for staff the dietary department. Follows the facility policies when hiring, orienting, and disciplining employees.
