Job summary

Midwest Health in Baldwin City is seeking a dedicated Dietary Supervisor to lead our dietary staff and ensure the proper preparation of menu items.

Under the general supervision of the community's Administrator, you will manage inventories, budgets, and staff performance, while following facility hiring and disciplinary policies. This full-time role offers competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assures that all items needed to prepare foods on the menu are available to dietary staff. Assures that appropriate inventories of food, supplies and equipment are available.
• Maintains and keeps accurate accounting for all budgets assigned, and informs Administrator prior to spending monies in excess of the budget.
• Is responsible for staff the dietary department. Follows the facility policies when hiring, orienting, and disciplining employees.
