Job summary

The Horsham Clinic is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to support the Dietary Services team in providing nutritious meals for patients and staff.

You will assist the Dietary Manager in operations, scheduling, inventory, and staff supervision, ensuring a sanitary environment and compliant food handling.

This role offers career development within a large healthcare network and a path to leadership in patient-centered nutrition services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
• Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager a plus.
• Food Handler’s certificate
• Five (5) years of demonstrated responsible food service experience with at least two (2) years in a management/supervisory Management of a foodservice unit for a Joint Commission Accredited hospital, 50 beds or more, a plus.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the Dietary Manager in managing and coordinating all activities of the Dietary Services Department.
• Providing nutritional meals for patients and facility employees
• Maintain an organized and sanitary environment
• Assist with monitor supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required
• Ensuring proper storage of food and supplies and assist with managing an effective Dietary staff.
• Assist with scheduling,payroll, disciplinary actions and interviewing for all Dietary staff
• Coordinating with various departments and level of staff including but not limited to nursing, clinical, DPO

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
