Job summary

Cascadia EE LLC in Junction City, Oregon, is seeking a Dietetic Manager to lead the Dietary Services Department in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. You will oversee meals, menus, and patient-specific diets, ensuring regulatory compliance and high resident satisfaction.

This is a full-time, onsite role requiring CDMs, CFPP, ServSafe certification, and experience in healthcare dining. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDM and CFPP credential required or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of dietary or food service management experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare food service preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutrition standards, and regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee dietary services operations including meals, food prep, purchasing, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure menus meet physician orders and therapeutic diet requirements.
• Collaborate with Registered Dietitian to implement nutrition programs and menu planning.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate dietary staff.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, meal presentation, and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and facility dietary regulations and standards.
• Oversee departmental budget, inventory management, food purchasing, and cost controls.
• Conduct kitchen and dining area inspections for safety and infection control compliance.
• Participate in resident care planning meetings and interdisciplinary discussions as needed.
• Respond to resident and family concerns related to food service and dining experiences.
