Job summary

Cascades at Oak Creek is seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to lead our nursing home dietary program and ensure the highest nutrition and dining standards for residents. You will direct the dietary department, oversee budgeting, and collaborate with the facility administrator to meet nutrition goals.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDM certification, with prior long-term care foodservice supervisory experience, and a strong understanding of applicable regulations.

• Direct and supervise all dietary personnel including hiring/firing, orientation, training, schedules, and evaluations.

• Work with the facility Administrator to maintain budgetary and inventory guidelines and goals.
• Participate in department head meetings.
• Oversee menus that meet nutritional needs and residents' preferences.

• Regularly participate in department head meetings.
• Oversee menus that meet nutritional needs and residents' preferences.

Requirements

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent certification required
• Strong understanding of Federal, State, and local rules and regulations regarding nursing home dietary requirements
• Prior foodservice experience in a long-term care setting is highly preferred
• Minimum one-year prior supervisory experience is prefered
