Qualifications

• CDM credential required or willing to obtain within timeframe.
• Strong leadership experience in dietary/food service management, preferably in healthcare or SNF.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutrition, food safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct daily dietary department operations.
• Ensure menus meet residents' nutritional needs per orders and guidelines.
• Oversee meal prep, service, and presentation to high standards of quality and sanitation.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise dietary staff.
• Manage inventory, orders, and department budget.
• Collaborate with nursing/staff for special diets.
• Conduct kitchen inspections and ensure food safety compliance.
• Participate in care plan meetings and quality initiatives.
