Job summary

Keizer Court Post Acute of Cascadia Healthcare seeks a Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Services Department, ensuring nutritious, physician-ordered meals and therapeutic diets are delivered with quality and compassion.

You will guide and develop staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to drive nutrition programs and residents’ wellbeing in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• CDM and CFPP credentials are required or must be obtainable within regulatory timelines.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years in dietary or food service management; 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all dietary services operations including meal service, food prep, purchasing, sanitation and compliance.
• Ensure menus meet physician orders and therapeutic diets; align with resident nutrition needs.
• Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to implement nutrition programs and menu planning.
• Supervise, train, schedule and evaluate dietary staff; monitor quality and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and facility regulations and standards.
• Oversee budget, inventory management, purchasing, and cost controls.
• Participate in care planning meetings and respond to resident and family concerns.
