Qualifications

• CDM certification or equivalent is required.
• Experience supervising dietary staff in a care setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing home dietary regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all dietary department activities including purchasing and meal production.
• Direct and supervise dietary personnel including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Ensure safe, sanitary foodservice production and storage areas.
• Maintain nutritional documentation in the electronic health record.
• Work with administration to meet budgetary and inventory goals.
• Participate in department head meetings and oversee menus.
