Apploi is hiring a Dietary Manager in Lima, Ohio to lead the dietary department, ensuring quality nutritional services and strict adherence to governing standards. You will oversee staffing, meal planning, and daily operations to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

The role requires certification as a Dietary Manager and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to meet residents' nutritional needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Dietary Manager.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dietary services with Nursing, Housekeeping, Social Services, and other departments.
• Assist in developing and applying departmental policies, procedures, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist in assessing dietary needs for each resident and in planning care goals.
• Develop and apply written dietary plans of care identifying problems and goals.
• Schedule care plans and assessments for committee review.
• Ensure care plans guide daily dietary services and are updated quarterly.
• Identify resident dietary needs and any special equipment required.
• Review and revise care plans and assessments as needed, at least quarterly.
• Provide substitute foods of similar nutritive value when residents refuse meals.
