Senior Solutions Management Group seeks a seasoned Food Service Director to oversee the planning, organization, and direction of the department for a health care facility. Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in food services.
• Recommended training in cost control, diet therapy, etc.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the overall operations of the Food Service Department.
• Maintain costs within budgeted parameters.
• Evaluate workforce and recommend training for staff.
• Schedule department hours and staffing to ensure resident care.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and policies.
• Prepare reports for the Administrator on department operations.
• Conduct vendor interviews for food and supplies.
• Develop inventory control procedures and stock levels.
• Procure food, supplies and equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with team to provide well-balanced meals and nutrition.
