Job summary

Goldwater Care Princeton is seeking a Dietary Manager to plan, organize, direct and sustain the daily operation of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations in our facility.

You will supervise dietary staff, review menus and diets, coordinate with nursing, maintain safety and sanitation, and participate in surveys to uphold quality nutrition services for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma and be certified as a Food Service Sanitation Manager.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and applicable laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the Dietary Department's programs.
• Develop and maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for dietary staff.
• Review policies and procedures and recommend revisions.
• Inspect storage, prep, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Process diet changes and ensure meals align with physician orders.
• Support resident discharge planning with dietary considerations.
• Contribute to facility surveys and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain resident diet histories and preferences.
