Job summary

Highland Hills Post Acute Perry SNF Healthcare LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service and kitchen operations. You will learn the dietary routines quickly, set up trays, assist with serving, and help wash dishes while maintaining a clean, sanitary work area.

You will also monitor dishwashing temps, assist with tray carryover, and participate in ongoing dietary staff training in a cooperative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.
• Able to work cooperatively with staff across departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Learn and follow food service routines quickly.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Operate the dishwasher and monitor sanitation.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen areas.
• Carry out trash disposal and groceries storage.
• Maintain clean, safe work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Assist in ongoing training of dietary staff and cooperate with all departments.
