Job summary

Pearl of Hillside is seeking a Dietary Service Aide to support residents with nutritious meals in a home-like setting. You will help set up dining areas, assist cooks, and ensure clean, safe service.

You must have prior dietary aide experience, knowledge of sanitation standards, and the stamina for a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or food service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as dietary aide with culinary and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals following instructions.
• Friendly demeanor and strong communication.
• Physical fitness for a fast-paced setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service cert is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas and tables with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision while following safety standards.
• Deliver meals to rooms promptly at scheduled times.
• Clear after meals and assist with clean-up.
• Dispose of leftovers and maintain waste hygiene.
• Keep food stations and equipment clean and sanitized.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Support maintenance of kitchen equipment and appliances.
