**Job Description**

The Dietary Manager is a management position responsible for developing and implementing dietary solutions to meet residents' needs and tastes. Oversees and manages dietary operations for residents in the senior living facility.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. Leadership

  6. Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations

  2. Identify client needs and communicate operational progress

  2. Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements
  3. Deliver client and company financial targets
  4. Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins
  1. Productivity
  2. Bring value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  3. Follow the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives
  4. Ensure entire team is trained and able to implement
  5. Supervise team regarding production, quality and control
  1. Compliance
  2. Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
  3. Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour

**Additional Responsibilities**

  • Lead the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/ Residential Dining Facility)
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities to deliver a finished product to the customer

**Qualifications**

  • Requires 2-3 years of experience in healthcare or long-term care
  • Requires 2-3 years of management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Excellent customer service skills using Aramark's standard service model
  • Ability to work effectively with other departments for a unified food service experience
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • CDM certification strongly preferred
