Dyer Nursing and Rehab in Dyer, Indiana is seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department, ensure high-quality meals, and provide compassionate care to residents. You will oversee daily operations and collaborate with the culinary team to meet nutritional needs.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, a high school diploma (nutrition degree preferred), strong leadership, and knowledge of dietary regulations.

• 1 year of experience as a Dietary Manager or Supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Nutrition or related field preferred.
• Compassionate and customer-focused approach to resident care.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily food service operations, including meal planning, food preparation, and presentation.
• Manage a team of dietary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and standards, such as Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Develop and implement effective budgeting and inventory management strategies.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents.
• Respond to resident dietary needs and preferences, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory, menu planning, and budgeting.
