Job summary

Englewood Health & Rehabilitation in Washington, DC is seeking a skilled Dietary Manager/CDM to oversee dietary services for residents. You will develop meal plans, ensure compliance with dietary standards, supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with healthcare teams to meet resident needs.

The ideal candidate holds a CDM certification (preferred) and a degree in Dietetics or related field; healthcare experience and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• CDM certification highly preferred
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation and nutrition principles
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee nutritional programs and meal plans
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and special diets
• Maintain compliance with state/federal regulations and industry standards
• Conduct audits of food service operations for quality and safety
• Supervise and train dietary staff and coordinate staffing
• Oversee ordering, procurement and inventory management of food supplies
• Maintain records for meal plans and resident dietary needs
• Prepare and submit reports to management/regulators
