Job summary

Solon Pointe in Solon, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department and create an exceptional dining experience for our residents. This full-time role is on-site in Solon, OH.

You will supervise the dietary team, ensure meals meet resident dietary needs, and maintain compliance with food safety regulations. Collaboration with nursing and interdisciplinary teams is essential to deliver outstanding resident care.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Previous dietary manager or food service leadership experience required.
• Long-term care or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support the dietary team
• Oversee daily kitchen and dining operations
• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to resident dietary needs
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and food safety regulations
• Manage food ordering, inventory, scheduling, and department budgets
• Partner with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to provide outstanding resident care
• Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Previous Dietary Manager or food service leadership experience required

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) required
