Job summary

Serenity Estates of Morris is seeking a skilled Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department at our senior living community. You will oversee menu planning, food preparation and presentation, ensuring nutritionally balanced and appealing dining experiences for residents.

You will collaborate with the culinary team to accommodate individual preferences and dietary restrictions while maintaining compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in dietary management, culinary arts or related field.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and food safety principles.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with dietary software and EMRs.

• Conduct regular quality control assessments to maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen
• Supervise and train dietary staff, ensuring effective communication and a positive work environment
