Job summary

The Waters of Greencastle in Indiana is seeking a Full Time Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department, ensure quality nutritional services, and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary operation.

You will develop and direct daily activities in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, while coordinating with administration and supporting a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be a graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training, approved by the American Dietetic Association.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct the dietary department operations to provide quality nutritional services.
• Ensure the department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

POSITION SUMMARY - Dietary Manager:

The primary purpose of your job position is developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE – Dietary Manager:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be a graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training, approved by the American Dietetic Association
• Must have, as a minimum, 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility
