Confidential Healthcare Facility in the Berwick - Bloomsburg area is seeking an experienced Dietary Manager to oversee dietary operations at a skilled nursing facility. You will ensure high-quality food service while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires oversight of daily dietary operations, staff management, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support overall facility operations.

Qualifications

• CDM certification preferred; candidates with strong dietary management experience may be considered without certification.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Experience in long-term care and prior management experience preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department
• Manage food service staff, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management
• Conduct probationary and annual employee evaluations and administer disciplinary actions as needed
• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and approved substitutions
• Ensure food is prepared according to standardized recipes and special diet orders
• Review resident care plans to ensure dietary needs are being met
• Provide nutrition support with guidance from a Registered Dietitian
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support overall facility operations
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations
