Apploi in Georgia is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee daily operations of the food service department in a faith-based healthcare setting. You will ensure proper preparation of therapeutic diets, participate in dietary care planning, and monitor resident weights with a focus on safety and quality.

You will plan menus, optimize resources, and supervise dietary staff, contributing to high levels of resident satisfaction and care in a compliant environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in food service management in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, regulatory dietary standards, and infection control procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the food service department.
• Ensure proper preparation and service of therapeutic diets per orders and standards.
• Complete sections of the MDS and assist in dietary care plan development.
• Plan and adjust menus to meet residents' nutritional needs and follow dietary recommendations.
• Monitor resident weights at admission and during changes in condition.
• Set and manage performance standards for food service delivery for quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate resource planning, cost control and department processes.
• Supervise and support dietary staff with accountability and safety.
• Duties as assigned.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and organizedDietary Manager

What You Will Do

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the food service department

• Ensure proper preparation and service of therapeutic diets in compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards

• Complete assigned sections of the MDS and participate in developing and revising dietary care plans

• Plan and adjust menus to meet the nutritional needs of residents, including consultant review and follow-up on dietary recommendations

• Monitor and assess resident weights upon admission, monthly, and during any significant change in condition

• Set and manage performance standards for food service delivery, optimizing efficiency, quality, and satisfaction

• Ensure proper resource planning, cost control, and operational processes within the department

• Supervise and support dietary staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and hospitality

• Duties as assigned

What You Must Have

• Prior experience in food service management, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting

• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, regulatory dietary standards, and infection control procedures

• ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification

• Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent
