Job summary

Healthcare Facility Partners is seeking a Dietary Manager in Bellevue, WA to lead all food service operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver a positive dining experience for residents. This role targets a motivated leader with a passion for nutrition, food safety, and staff development.

The position emphasizes strategic menu planning, staff supervision, budget management, and cross‑functional collaboration with nursing.

Qualifications

• CDM credential, or willingness to obtain within required timeframe.
• Previous leadership experience in dietary or food service management (healthcare or SNF experience preferred).
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutrition, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct daily dietary department operations.
• Ensure menus meet residents' nutritional needs in line with physician orders and state/federal guidelines.
• Oversee meal preparation, service, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and sanitation.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise dietary staff, building a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Maintain inventory, order food and supplies, and manage the department budget.
• Partner with nursing and the interdisciplinary team on special diets, allergies, and texture modifications.
• Conduct routine kitchen inspections and maintain compliance with food safety regulations.
• Participate in care plan meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
